This is your child’s opportunity to explore the possibilities of playing a band instrument, LIVE and IN PERSON! Meet our professional musician instructors and find out if band is for YOU.
Students may choose one instrument from our selection of wind, brass, and percussion instruments to use for the day. If you have your own instrument but don’t know how to play it, bring it!
This event is also open to current band students who want to try a different instrument for the day.
At the end of the workshop, parents will be invited to a small performance.

*Though the regular YMV program is for homeschooled students only, students do NOT have to be homeschooled to participate in Band for a Day. If Band for a Day is cancelled due to Covid-19 related issues, all registered participants will receive a full refund.
