We welcome homeschool and non-homeschool families to attend our camps.  To register and pay, click on the link below the description of each camp or class in which you wish to participate.  Invite your friends!

Broadway Basics (5th-7th)

June 10-14, 10:30am-2:00pm

Instructors: Kate Clemons & Karla Robinson

Gain confidence and learn performance basics! Start your summer on the right foot learning about the exciting world of musical theatre. Students will learn the importance of working together as an ensemble while building acting, singing and dancing skills culminating in a showcase performance. Engage with industry professionals in workshops, honing their musical theatre chops in a fun, safe and supportive environment. Friday Showcase (6/14) at 6:30 pm.

SAT Summer Boot Camp (9th-12th)

June 10-14 & June 17-21, 9:00am-10:30am

Instructor: Nathan Dee

Curriculum: The Official SAT Study Guide, included with supply fee

This course will acquaint the student with the new SAT, pinpointing trouble spots. The course will include: tactics and strategies, vocabulary and essay writing, math, math and more math, and a practice test in SAT conditions. Perfect for anyone who plans to take the PSAT in the fall or the SAT during the school year.

You Will Be Found: A New Musical Theatre Showcase (8th-12th)

June 17-21, 10:30am-2:00pm

Instructors: Kate Clemons & Karla Robinson

Designed with older students in mind, this week will be full of exciting workshops, ensemble growth and solo performance. Workshops may include: Audition Technique, Vocal Health, Belting, Acting the Song, Crafting the Perfect Monologue and more! Friday Showcase (6/21) at 6:30 pm. For placement: Send a video with a 1-minute monologue and two contrasting musical theatre selections (32 bar cuts) to karlarobinson@gmail.com and kate.e.clemons@gmail.com.

Band Camp (6th-12th)

July 15-19, 9:00am-12:00 noon

Instructors: Dr. Christopher S. Card, Gary “JuJu” Garlic, Tommy Loyola

Spend one week with great educators learning some of the newest music and methods in a concert band setting! Students will study concert band music and enjoy the great opportunities of playing, perfecting, and performing on their brass, wind, or percussion instruments. Activities will include full band and small sectional instruction with challenging and interesting new music. The week will end with a performance of the music that has been polished during the week.

Artistic Beasts & Where We Find Them (6 yrs-6th)

July 15-19, 9:00am-12:00 noon

Instructor: Stephanie Councill

Come along and explore as we search for Artistic Beasts in habitats around the world! Projects will be inspired by animals found living in the Arctic, Desert, Rainforest, Ocean and Woodland Forest. A variety of art materials will be used. Student work will be displayed on Friday during Band Camp Performance.

Creative Writing Workshop (8th-12th)

July 2-23, 10:30am-2:30pm, Tuesdays

Instructor: Kate Clemons

This workshop series will be sure to stimulate the appetite of young writers with something for everyone over the course of four weeks. Each session will be full of exercises designed to spark creativity as students develop their individual writing styles. Workshops will cover poetry, short stories and playwriting. Students will also have the opportunity to bring in a previously conceived work for help in editing and perfecting. The workshop will culminate in a reading showcase (7/23) as well as a literary magazine. Students should submit a piece of individual writing to kate.e.clemons@gmail.com when they register.

Summer Biology Class (9th-12th)

June 11–August 20, 10:30am-2:00pm, Tuesdays

Instructor: Yetta Roy

Curriculum: Exploring Creation with Biology textbook and Student Notebook

A high school biology course, this college-prep biology course provides a detailed introduction to the methods and concepts of general biology. Heavily emphasizing the vocabulary of biology, it provides the student a strong background in the scientific method, the five-kingdom classification scheme, microscopy, biochemistry, cellular biology, molecular and Mendelian genetics, evolution, and ecosystems. Labs will include microscope work, experiments, and dissection. This summer course is worth a full credit of high school biology and is for home school students only.
