We welcome homeschool and non-homeschool families to attend our camps. To register and pay, click on the link below the description of each camp or class in which you wish to participate. Invite your friends! This year we are offering two levels of Art Camp, Elementary Theatre Arts Camp, Music Technology Camp, and a Test Prep & Note Taking Class. Summer Camps and classes 2024
Elementary Theatre Arts Camp
Dates: July 22-26th, 9:00 am-3:30 pm; performance on Friday, July 26th @ 6:30pm and Saturday, July 27th @ 2:00pm
Age level: 2nd-6th grade (by Sept 1)
Cost: $250 plus fees; students who are not currently enrolled at YMV have an additional non-refundable $15.00 processing fee.
Where: Young Musicians of Virginia, 865 Woodstock Rd, Virginia Beach, VA
Theatre is a wonderful art form that teaches students many important life skills, such as team work, perseverance, and responsibility. Theatre also nurtures character development. We strive to uphold positive character traits including respect, humility, timeliness, individuality, and kindness.
Our goal is to provide students with an opportunity to perform outside of the school year. Many students are unable to participate in theatre classes during the school year due other extracurricular activities and needs. This will give every student an opportunity to shine!
Lastly, it is our mission to provide a safe and healthy environment for our students to perform in, as we seek to glorify Christ in all we do!

Music Technology Camp
Dates: July 15-19, 9 am – 12 pm
Age level: students in grades 6-12 (in the fall)
Cost: $116 plus fees; students who are not currently enrolled at YMV have an additional non-refundable $15.00 processing fee.
Participants will learn fundamentals of digital music production and will collectively produce a song from start to finish. All levels are welcome to attend; no musical knowledge is required. Each producer will acquire lots of knowledge to be used in their own music projects. Bring a notebook and pencil!

CLASS – Test Prep and Note Taking
Dates:, 9 am – 11 am Tuesdays July 2, 9, 16, 23, 30
Age level: students in grades 6-12 (in the fall)
Cost: $106 plus fees; students who are not currently enrolled at YMV have an additional non-refundable $15.00 processing fee.
Learn test-taking strategies and note-taking skills for middle school, high school, and beyond! Five sessions of instruction. Bring a notebook and pencil!
