Soli Deo and Advanced Strings perform annually at Bruton Parish in Williamsburg. The Candlelight Christmas concert is a beautiful way to celebrate the season! Opening prayer begins in the video at 6:38 and music at 8:30.

Our YMV artists have had a busy year! Elementary and Middle School students “traveled” the world, visiting Australia, Mexico, Peru, Japan, parts of Africa and the Scandinavian countries. At each stop, we’d get our passports stamped and use a variety of art materials to create “souvenirs” to remember our travels!
High School artists concentrated on building confidence and techniques with watercolor. Using master artists’ works as a guide, students experimented with wet-on-wet, texturizing techniques, washes, underdrawings, back runs, blooms, honed their brushwork, used masking and lifting out techniques and created their own unique final project assignment showcasing their skills.

Young Musicians of Virginia choral, band, and strings groups have performed at multiple venues in the Hampton Roads area, as well as locations around the state. Some favorites include Bruton Parish in Williamsburg, the Biltmore Estate in Asheville, NC, and Liberty University in Lynchburg, VA.
