Band Camps

BAND CAMP

Dates: July 10-14, 9 am – 12:30 pm
Age level: students in grades 6-12 (in the fall); minimum of 1 year of band experience or applied private lessons required.
Cost: $125 plus fees; students who are not currently enrolled at YMV have an additional non-refundable $15.00 processing fee.

Spend a week working with our three professional directors! Students will learn a variety of concert band literature and have the opportunity for small ensembles as well, all while improving technique and honing skills. The week will culminate with a student performance.

JAZZ ESSENTIALS CAMP

Dates: July 24-28, 9 am – 12 pm
Age level: students in grades 6-12 (in the fall); minimum of one year band experience or applied lessons required
Cost: $112 plus fees; students who are not currently enrolled at YMV have an additional non-refundable $15.00 processing fee.

A fundamental approach to Jazz for all levels. Learn the language of Jazz and enjoy the musical freedom of this great American Art Form! Bring a notebook and pencil!
